I bought this because this lipstick has many beautiful shades, and I wanted to try one out before I committed to more! I don’t really like matte lipsticks but as many reviews said this wasn’t too drying, it sounded good.

The lipstick is indeed not drying, but it’s not really moisturizing either (obviously). It is a comfortable matte, and lays on a little like a drier cream balm on the lips. It’s not too forgiving on dry or chapped lips, so make sure you exfoliate or put on a little lip balm before wearing this. It wears well for a couple of hours, with some fading if you eat or drink. It leaves a slight tint after wearing off.

The shade I bought, Perky Rose, is beautiful and quite close to the official product photo. It’s just maybe a tiny bit cooler in shade, because the official photo makes it look like a warm-toned rose. I tried to take an accurate swatch photo of it. It is a lively rose shade, and brightens the complexion.

The packaging is nice and sleek, and the lipstick has one of the nicest scents I’ve experienced from a lip product (a sweet candy scent, almost bubblegum-cotton candy-like that’s not too cloying).

If you like matte lipsticks, this is a great choice! It’s not too expensive and it has a lot of gorgeous shades. I think this is as good as a matte lipstick gets. I’m considering buying more shades ;)
