Skin type: normal, dehydrated. Tends to be partly oily in hot&dry summer, and severely dehydrated&dry in our windy winter with harsh seasonal heating. Skin has under the skin pimples in particular time of month due to hormonal changes.

Consistency: usual emulsion, watery cream.

Scent: Fragrance note of this line is GREEN - FLORAL. I think that emulsion has the most GREEN- note (smells HEAVENLY!!!), while the rest of it has a little bit sweetness in it. This one has the most beautiful and the strongest fragrance among other products, but still it's lightweight and disappears quickly. It doesn't linger on skin.

Absorption: soaks in quickly and without any stickiness. I let all the products I use before it being fully absorbed, so all layers of skincare soaks in in a right way.

Overall: The most controversial product. I use it with the SAEM Harakeke Foam, Harakeke Ampoule and Harakeke Toner together. The first time I used them all, I haven't let them being fully absorbed, and layered it on slightly wet skin, and it became wonderfully saturated with moisture and it was so pleasant to touch it! I felt how velvety and soft, truly hydrated, nourished and vitalized it was. Then, a few days later of such use, I found it might leave a little greasy shine after, but maybe it was because of I didn't calculate the right amount of products and it was too much. OR because of I didn't let products being absorbed fully before next steps. Then I noticed that when I used it that way - layering steps on slightly wet skin, after couple of days it made my skin slightly red. I thought it was because of finger pressure, but then a day or two later I think I broke out. Then I stopped using this emulsion, and when I felt I needed SOS hydration few days later, I applied it again. Note: I let all the products I used before being fully absorbed!!! It's important, because this way I didn't have any reaction. Maybe my skin got used to it, maybe it was all about the way I applied it. Anyway, as for me, especially now in winter, I'd definately prefer something moisturazing atop of it in addition. So I guess it really depends on if you let it absorb fully or on air condition (harsh seasonal heating or dry and cold weather, for example). I think, in general, it moisturizes, but sometimes not enough.
