The blush is very sheer.  It's hard to see the color on my cheek in the picture, but in real life, it looks like a very natural flush, like the same color you get on your cheeks after working out or getting pinched.  It does add a beautiful glow to my cheeks with a barley there pink color.  Since the color is so sheer, this would be good for people who want a natural flush on their cheeks, but not too much color.  This blush is also good too for balancing heavy eye/lip make up.  If you like to have more color your cheek, then a powder blush is probably better.  My only issue is that it does not last very long.  It seems to disappear in about 2 hours.
