this is a very thick cream, but it's not heavy or greasy at all. its texture is SO luxurious and almost compares to a dense whipped cream? like, if you scoop out a bit it'll stay like that ?? i think it's the xantham gum, it gives it an almost gelatinous texture. it's really nice! it's hard to describe, because it's velvety and light and just leaves your skin so refreshed and calm and hydrated, it's like a hug to your skin. it dries down quickly and leaves a natural finish (it just makes your skin look like skin, no shine or glow). also, this tub is giant. you get 100 ml, which is almost double the size you'd usually get for a face cream. 

i bought this because i'm currently using prescription strength acne treatment and my skin is going through it. the entire our vegan heartleaf cica line has been great for calming my skin and hasn't caused any breakouts!! i have sensitive, combination & acne prone skin. i would highly recommend it to every skin type unless your skin is extremely dry. but i guess it depends on what you layer underneath. 

what i personally love is that it has no scent, since there's no added fragrance or essential oils. i hope this helps :)
