I've tried both products and like them a lot. The combination of snail mucin and bee venom (propolis) works very well for helping fade recent acne marks and evening out my skin tone. These products are also very moisturizing in my experience, both are on the thicker and more hydrating side compared to other products I've used (Nature Republic Snail Solution essence/cream and CosRX Galactomyces essence & Snail 92 cream).
Benton is known for not using preservatives in their products, which is a feature some people may like--I find it a bit irritating since it means that their products have a very short shelf life. One curious thing I noticed about this set is that the steam cream's box recommends using the products within 12 months of the manufacture date, but the back of the cream's tube shows a 6 month expiry image. My tube was produced in November 2015, ordered & arrived in January 2016. I plan on using it within six months to be on the safe side, so I have until May 2016. Since these are deluxe sample/miniature-sized, I think I'll be able to do it, but this does make me reconsider ordering full-sized Benton products in the future.
The steam cream is slightly greasy but sinks in very well and is very moisturizing--I use it as the final step in my routine and feel that it's very good at sealing in moisture and my previous skincare steps. The essence is also very good, but not sure if it is so standout that I would reorder it--I definitely hesitate on ordering the full size because of the short shelf-life and how long it takes me to use essences.
